KMHS Corner BY RAINEY HAIGLER THE BLITZ IS ON! SAVINGS THROUGHOUT THE STORE IN TIME FOR SPRING FUN A few weeks ago I did a survey on the Senior Class of 1984. Around 55 percent of the graduating seniors expect to further their education, 40 percent plan to go to work as soon as they graduate, and five per- cent plan to go into the services. Most seniors’ favorite memory of high school was the good and the bad times shared with each other. If they could relive their high school days, most of the students said they would study harder and apply themselves for the future. Enjoy high school and do not wish their lives away. Become more involved in the extra-curricular activities that are offered while in school. The feelings that the seniors have about graduation are sad, happy, anticipation, and hesitation. The sad part is leaving behind friends that you may not see again, remembering all the happy times at football games, basketball games, pep rallies, band, chorus, art, home economic classes, etc. The anticipation and hesitation of not knowing what the future holds for them. Hopefully the underclassmen will take some of their advice and study harder and not make some of the same mistakes that they did. Now they realize, and it is too late. Cherish each moment of high school and take advantage of every opportunity to increase your knowledge. On Thursday, May 3, the Bloodmobile was held at Barnes Auditorium, 167 pints of blood were given. Thank you students and the community for a job well done. Students received their caps, gowns and announcements on Friday, May 4th. Their graduation pictures were made on Wednesday, May 9. Students in grades 10 and 11 registered on May 9 for the classes they will take next year.
