Sparks says that the IRS now requires that current records be kept for all business mileage that taxpayers will claim a credit for on their 1985 tax return. H&R Block has a record book that makes complying with this new rule very simple and this book is available without charge for all taxpayers. Mr. Sparks says that anyone may come by the H&R Block office Monday through Friday from 9 til 9 or’ weekends between 9 and 5 and he will be glad to explain the new rules and show interested persons how to keep accurate records. Sparks also said, ‘This may prove to be a real benefit for tax- payers because most people underestimate their mileage when they ‘guesstimate’. Ac- ' curate records will probably give them an even larger deduction.” For further information you can call H&R Block at 739-2865.
