Kings Mountain’s girls were also beaten 5642 as the Crest girls maintained their share of first place with three other clubs. Crest, which had’ won only two games before Friday, had a hot night from the floor and also got the Mountaineers in foul trouble to score their upset win. Kings Mountain held the lead for the first half despite the early foul trouble, leading by 12-8 after the first period and 25-24 at halftime.
