Cannonballs Clinch Mixed Bowling Crown The Cannonballs won four games from the Pinbusters Thursday night at Dilling Heating Lanes to wrap up the championship of the Thurs- day Mixed Duckpin Bowling League. The Cannonballs won both halves of the split season to win the title outright. Three bowlers topped the 300-set mark to lead: the vic- tories. Joe Lail had a 126 line and 338 set, Johnny Reavis added a 114 line and 330 set and Alan Van Dyke had a 118 line and 329 set. Dan Dilling had a 114 line and 297 set for the losers. In another match, Allen Myers had one of the top sets of the year to lead Them to four wins over ' the Pinseekers. Myers, who roll- ed two 400-plus sets earlier in the year, rolled a 136 line and 395 set. Jonathan Jones added a 242 set, Angel Myers a 213 and John Caldwell a 208 for the winners. Tim Fletcher had a 92 line and 233 set and Robbie Hullender added:a 203 set for the Rollers. The Redbirds defeated the Demons as Benji Ingle and Brad Roberts each bowled 222 sets. Roberts won high line honors with ‘a 94.
