In Service Bradshaw Graduates Airman Robert F. Brad- shaw II, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bradshaw of 723° Canterbury Road, Kings Mountain, N.C., has graduated from the U.S. Air Force aircraft maintenance course at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas. : During the course, students were taught aircraft maintenance fundamentals to repair and service one-- and two-engine jet aircraft. Maintenance management and documentation was also taught to assess aircraft readiness capability. Graduates of the course earned credits toward an associate degree through the Community College of the Air Force. Bradshaw is scheduled to serve at Shaw Air Force Base, S.C. He is a 1984 graduate of Kings Mountain Senior High School. Steele Completes Training Navy Seaman Recruit William T. Steele, son of Billy R. and Betty J. Steele, of 507 E. Maryland Ave., Bessemer City, has completed recruit training with Recruit Train- ing Command, Naval Train- ing Center, Great Lakes, II. During Steele’s eight-week training cycle, he studied general military subjects designed to prepare him for further academic and on-the- job training in one of the Navy’s 85 basic fields. Steele’s studies included ‘ seamanship, close order drill, Naval history and first aid. Personnel who complete this course of instruction are eligible for three hours of col- lege credit in Physical Education and Hygiene. A 1979 graduate of Bessemer City High School, he joined the Navy in August, 1984. Rabies Clinics Slated The 1985 Rabies Clinic will be held March 25-30 and April 1-6 at several locations in the Kings Mountain area. Vac- cines are $5. Please have your cats confined in a box or wrapped in a towel and your dogs in a box or on a leash. Special Clinics will be held on Thursday, March 28th, from 5:30 until 6:30 p.m. at Boulevard Animal Hospital, 1235 East Dixon Blvd., Shelby; on Saturday, March 30th, at Grover School from 12:30 until 1 p.m., at Oak Grove Volunteer Fire Department from 1:15 until 1:45 p.m., at Boiling Springs Elementary School from 2 until 2:30 p.m., and at Shanghai Volunteer Fire Department from 2:30 until 3 p.m. On Saturday, April 6th, special clinics will be held at Flay Willis Store in Belwood from 1 until 1:30 p.m., at Casar Volunteer Fire Depart- ment from 1:45 until 2:15 p.m., at Lattimore Elemen- tary ‘School from 2 until 2:30 p.m. and at Jerry’s Mini Mart, Polkville, from 2:30 un- til 3 p.m. During normal working hours the clinics will be held at Cottonwood Veterinary Hospital, Highway 18 North; Boulevard Animal Hospital, 1235 East Dixon Blvd., Shelby; Animal Health Ser- vices, 1101 Cherryville Road; Lawndale Animal Hospital, Fallston Road; Kings Moun- tain Animal Hospital, Highway 74 West; Cleveland Veterinary Hospital, 1687 East Marion St., Shelby; and Cross Country’ Veterinary Hospital, Highway 182, Lawndale.
