Two years ago'she was licensed as an Emergency Medical Techni- cian by Cleveland Technical College and became a volunteer with the all-male Rescue Squad in January, answering calls with the men after her workday was com- pleted at Tultex Outlet Store. Why did she take training as an E.M.T.? She says she felt the emergency training would be helpful, not only for" her immediate family, but for friends in her community and at Patterson Grove Bap- tist Church, where she is an active member and leader of’ four and five year olds in Baptist Training Union. In a, the family raises 16 quarter horses and her 15-year-old sister, Lori, is an avid horsewoman.’’ I wanted to be able to take care of Lori or anyone else who might be injured while riding’, she said. CORRECTION Due to incorrect informa- tion supplied by the Kings Mountain Police Depart- ment, the name and address of Kenneth Foogie Williams was wrong in a story in last week’s Herald about a county-wide drug bust. Williams, who was arrested for possession of marijuana and selling marijuana, was listed as Kenneth Foogie Willis of 501 North Watterson Street. According to Williams’ father, Willis Williams, who lives at 501 North Watterson Street and has never been involved in drugs in any way, Kenneth Foogie Williams does not reside at that address.
