Classes will begin June 5 and end August 27. Students will not attend classes during the holiday period, July 1-5. Course Slated At Tech The Continuing Education Department of Cleveland - Technical College announces a Summer Quarter course en- titled ‘ ‘Fundamentals of Real Estate”. This 68-hour course which begins June 11 will meet Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6 to 10 PM in Room 2028. This class designed for pro- _ spective real estate sales agents will include instruc- tion in real property laws, ap- praising, brokerage, finance and the mechanics of closing a sale. Jim Toole, Jr. will in- struct the course. Registration will be held at the first class meeting. A $10 registration fee will be charg- ed for those under 65 years of age. In addition, a course text, available in Tech’s bookstore, is required of all participants. For more infor- mation, call 484-4015. Tech will offer courses in 12 technical, 11 vocational, and general education programs during the summer session.l The technical programs are accounting, business ad- ministration, business com- puter programming, ex- ecutive secretarial science, general office technology, medical secretarial science, communications technology, fashion merchandising and marketing, electronics engineering technology, in- dustrial management technology, criminal justice, and radiologic technology. Vocational programs of- fered are air-conditioning and refrigeration, auto body repair, auto mechanics, diesel vehicle (truck) mechanics, electrical in- stallation and maintenance, electronic servicing, in- dustrial electronics, in- dustrial maintenance, machinist, welding, and practical nursing. The cost of the curriculum courses is $4.25 per credit hour (in-state) and $21.25 per credit hour (out-of-state). For 12 or more credit hours, the cost is $59.00 (in-state) and $263.00 (out-of-state). A $8.00 student activity fee is in- cluded in the full-time cost. According to investigating Kings Mountain police, the bike rider, traveling south on Landing St., struck the sanitation vehicle, traveling x East on Landing, in the'left side, doing $200 damage to the 1983 Ford truck operated by James Kenneth Downey, 900 Rhodes Ave. Stone was taken to Kings Mountain Family Practice on W. Moun- tain Street and treated for in- juries. ‘A three-car crash occurred Sunday afternoon at 3:50 p.m. on Cleveland Avenue in- volving cars operated by Michael Willis, of Grover; operating a 1980 Chevy which was damaged $1100; Deborah Burton, 1012 Second St. operating a 1980 Toyota which was damaged $1,000; and Calvin Martin, of York, S.C., who rwas operating a 1981 Ford which was damag- ed $200.
