The Bulldogs begin play at home against Mt. Olive on Friday, November 15 in the 5000 seat Paul Porter Arena. “‘I consider this to be our best, most interesting and toughest schedule since I've been at Gardner-Webb," replied Wiles. ‘Our home schedule is especially in- teresting with 17 home games including 6 on Saturday nights.” Highlighting the schedule is the WBTV Carolina Classic. The Classic, which brings together many of the best small college teams in North and South Carolina, has been dominated by the Runnin’ Bulldogs. Gardner- Webb has won the tourna- ment six times in the ten years its been held. Other highlights include the Rotary Dixie Classic at Gardner-Webb on November 18-19 and the Hickory Rotary Classic November 29-30 at Lenoir-Rhyne. Gardner- Webb has added home and home contests with Elon and past rival Limestone and will continue series with Wingate, Lenoir-Rhyne, Belmont Ab- bey, Mars Hill and Catawba.
