ATTENDED 4-H ELECTRIC CONGRESS—Cleveland County 4-H members Tammy (left) and Karen Ellis, Rt. 3, Lawndale, were delegates to the State 4-H Electric Congress July 8-10 at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Buzz Moss, Duke Power Company agricultural engineer, ac- companied the delegates. The 4-H’ers were selected for achievement in their electric projects. Duke Power spon- sored the trip. The congress was conducted by the North Carolina Agricultural Extension Service. Page 10B-KINGS MOUNTAIN HERALD-Thursday, July 18, 1985 Patricia Fisher, daughter of Louise Gladden Fisher of Raleigh and granddaughter —of the late Mr. and Mrs. John W. Gladden of Kings Moun- tain, is recipient of a full four- year Stewart Scholarship to attend Davidson College. Miss Fisher will enroll as a freshman student in the Fall. A 1985 graduate of Broughton High School of Raleigh, she attended Gover- nor’s School in areas of Math and Science. Dale Greene, son of Mary and Herman Greene of 302 Maner Road, has been ac- cepted by the Charlotte Police Academy for 15 weeks training beginning July 31. He is a recent graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with B.S. in Criminal Justice and is a 1981 graduate of Kings Mountain High School. Fisher Gets Scholarship vice. State University and was the National Merit Scholar and Presbyterian Scholar for 1985.
