July 8-10 at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
Buzz Moss, Duke Power Company agricultural engineer, ac-
companied the delegates. The 4-H’ers were selected for
achievement in their electric projects. Duke Power spon-
sored the trip. The congress was conducted by the North
Carolina Agricultural Extension Service.

Miss Fisher will enroll as a
freshman student in the Fall.

quarters, Monongahela has
been though a yard period.

and numerous other inspec-
tions. Biddy’s performance
has far exceeded what was
expected of him. After long
hours required by the com-
mand, he worked in the
Emergency Diesel Generator
Space on his own time, bring-
ing it far above the normal
standards which are ac-
cepted by the Navy. For vir-
tually every inspection, his
space has been outstanding.
On every occasion the
Emergency Diesel was need-
ed, it provided the ship with
electrical power vital to
meeting its mission.
During the period. Biddy
also qualifed as an *'Enlisted
Surface Warfare Specialist.’
At no time on board
Monongahela did he fail to
