Thursday, October 10, 1985-KINGS MOUNTAIN HERALD-Page 5B Players Of The Week Monyel McCullough and Jerry Jordan were selected as Mountaineer Lineman and Back of the Week following outstanding performances in Friday’s 59-0 homecoming vic- tory over the Chase Trojans. McCullough, a senior linebacker, made nine tackles, recovered two fumbles, caused one fumble and had three quarterback sacks as the Mountaineers held the Trojans to nine yards rushing and 37 yards total offense. Jordan, a junior offensive and defensive back, gained 80 yards rushing, including a 49-yard touchdown run from the quarterback position. On defense, he made five tackles and returned pass interceptions for touchdowns of 40 and 46 yards.
