Ridge St., who died Saturday in the Kings Moun- tain Hospital, were con- ducted Monday afternoon at 3 p.m. from St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church of which he was a member. Rev. Harwood Smith, Jr. and Rev. George Moore of- ficiated at the rites and inter- ment was in Mountain Rest Cemetery. : Mr. Ramsey was a retired textile employee. He was son arl Logan and Lola Falls Ramsey and a native of Cleveland County. His wife was the late Katherine Hill Ramsey. Surviving are one son, Charles E. Ramsey, Jr. of Kings Mountain; one ‘daughter, Mrs. Mary Beth Moore of Rocky Mount; two grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Nell Hedrick of Kings Mountain. C.0. HORD Funeral services for Cleveland Odell Hord, 63, of 407 Walnut St., who died Sun- day in the Kings Mountain Hospital, were conducted Tuesday afternoon at 3 p.m. | from Cedar Grove Baptist Church, interment following in Gaston Memorial Park. Mr. Hord was a native of Cleveland County, son of the late Grover and Emma Porter Hord and husband of ~ the late Mary Caldwell Hord. He was retired from Smyre Manufacturing Company and was a veteran of World War ‘II. He was a ‘member of |" Calvary Baptist Church. Surviving are three brothers, Elzy Hord of Farmers, Tennessee, Calvin Hord of Martin Ferry, Ohio, and Joe Hord of Kings Moun- tain; three sisters, Mrs. Lunie Bowen of Grover, Mrs. Lucy Wright of Shelby and Mrs. Nellie Causby of Kings Mountain; half sister, Mrs. Hazeline Smith of Shelby; foster sister, Mrs. Pearl Heafner of Grover. MRS. MILDRED EARLY, Funeral services for Mrs. Mildred Sullivan Early, 68, of 1608 S. Mitchell St., Melbourne, Fla., who died Nov. 8, were held Sat., Nov. 9th, at 3 p.m. from Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Mrs. Early was a former resident of Kings Mountain. Surviving are two sons, Robert Early of Bowling Green, Ky., and Jake W. Ear- ly, Jr. of Tallahassee, Fla; one daughter, Mrs. Judy Lustig of Atlanta, Ga.; seven randchildren; rothers, James B. Sullivan of Lancaster, S.C. and Robert L. Sullivan of Shelby. R.T. MOORE Funeral services for R.T. Moore, 66, of 3140 Midpines, who died Tuesday in the Kings Mountain Hospital, were conducted Friday at 3 p.m. from Love Valley Bap- tist Church. Rev. Loyd Sanders, assisted by Rev. Earl Red- ding, officiated at the rites and interment was in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr, Moore was a native of Chester County and a retired driver with Red Ball Cab Co. He was the son of the late Samuel and Rhoda McDaniel Moore. Surviving are his wife, Susie Taylor Moore; one son, Timothy Moore, of the home; one daughter, Khristine Moore of the home; two brothers, Sherman Moore of Blacksburg, S.C. and J.V. Moore of Kings Mountain; and two sisters, Ruthie Black of Patterson Springs and Sal- ly Black of Kings Mountain. ANDY PRICE Funeral services for Andy James Price, 74, of Canton, Ohio, formerly of Kings Mountain, were conducted at Cledust-Reed Funeral Home in Canton, Ohio Wednesday at1 p.m. Interment will be Veterans Park of Forest Lawn Cemetery. Mr. Price was a retired welder and a navy veteran of World War IIL. 4 Surviving are his daughter, Helen Bridges of Shelby; one brother, Phil Price of Allen- junction, W.Va., three sisters, Elmer Thompson and Essie Long, both of Canton, Ohio, and Mae Oliver of Behul, Idaho, two grand- children and three great- grandchildren. MARIE TART Funeral services for Marie Williams Tart, 77, of Clover, S.C., mother of Deloris Stevens of Kings Mountain, were conducted Monday at 2 p.m. from Sisk-Butler Funeral Home with the Rev. HARRY HUDSON Funeral services for Harry Lee Hudson, 83, of Route 11, Shelby, who died Saturday, were conducted Monday at 4 p.m. from Putnam Memorial Baptist Church by Rev. Larry Morris and Mike Mor- ris, interment following in Cleveland Memorial Park. Mr. Hudson was a native of Haywood County, retired painter, and a member of Putnam Memorial Baptist Church. He was son of the late John and Addie Hudson.
