Jim Calhoun, who said God delivered him from seven years of drug addiction and healed his legs when he couldn’t walk after an automobile accident in 1971, is evangelist for revival ser- vices underway at Full Gospel Praise Center, 216 N. Linwood Road. . Services are at 7 p.m. nightly. The public is invited. Full Gospel Praise Center is located across the street from Anvil Knitting Mill. ~ Rev. Calhoun is formerly of Tustin, Calf. and Gastonia and now lives in the Cher- ryville area. He tells the story of life as a member of a motorcycle gang and life as a drug addict for seven years and the miraculous healing of his body and soul. “There is no hope for thousands ad- dicted on drugs unless they are delivered by God’, he tells audiences all over the country where he has preach- ed. Praise Center is a non- membership body of believers of all faiths, colors and creeds who come together every Friday, Satur- day and Sunday at 7 p.m. and Sunday morning at 11 a.m. for worship services. Little Theatre Sets Meeting Kings Mountain Little Theatre will hold its regular monthly meeting Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at the Parkgrace theatre. All members are encourag- ed to attend as this meeting will be a planning event for the February production of “Snoopy.” All persons interested in the Little Theatre are en- couraged to attend. Garden Club Program Set Mrs. Zeb Plonk will present the program at Wednesday’s meeting of the Kings Moun- tain Garden Club.
