JOE HENRY LECROY (Leslie Dawn Brooks) Valentine’s Day Ceremony Unites Brooks-LeCroy Couple Temple Baptist Church of Kings Mountain provided the setting Valentine’s Day for a 6 p.m. wedding uniting Leslie Dawn Brooks and Joe Henry LeCroy. : Dr. Richard Wilson of Boil- ing Springs officiated at the double-ring, candlelight ceremony. The music was presented by William McS- wain of Kings Mountain. The bride, given in mar- riage by her father, wore her mother’s wedding dress of white satin with white pearls enlaid on the front. The bou- _quet was blue and lavender i rchids:® EE ! fH Re k hi g ‘the matron of honor was her sister, Miss Nicole Brooks. She wore a dress of ice blue w ‘and carried a candle with bows of ice blue around it. Bridesmaid was Miss Nor- ma Davis. She wore a dress of French lavender and car- ried a candle with French lavender bows around it. Flower girl was Christian Ragland and ringbearer was Chucky Canipe. Jamie Canipe lit the candles. Pageant Registration Set March 8 Registration for the Kings Mountain Little Wee Miss and Little Miss pageants will be held March 8 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at B.N. Barnes Auditorium. Registration fee is $16. The fee includes pictures. The pageant, scheduled for March 22, is sponsored by the KMHS Booster’s Club. All proceeds go to the high school athletic department. The Little Wee Miss divi- sion is for ages three to six and will be directed by Tina Wright. The Little Miss divi- sion is for ages seven through 10 and will be directed by Cin- dy Brown. The bride is the daughter of Daphne L. Stoll of 1015 Sherwood Lane and the late James M. Stoll Jr. She attends Kings Mountain High School. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. L.C. Bolton of the Oak Grove Community and is employed by Spectrum Fibers. Robin Sabucco, Carl Plonk Honored At Drop-In Party Robin Sabucco and Carl Plonk, who will be married March 1, were honored at a drop-in February 15 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. David Dilling. Hosting along with the Dill- ings were Mr. and Mrs. Larry Hamrick Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Mrs. Louis Sabetti Jr. © Approximately 60 guests attended and were served in the dining room where a Valentine theme was carried out. The table was covered with a white lace cloth and decorated with silver punch bowl, silver candlesticks holding red candles, and magnolia leaves. The buffet was banked with magnolias and was also decorated with silver candlesticks and red candles. Red tulips served as the centerpiece. Peter and Paul Chen enter- tained guests with violin selections. : : The host couples presented the bridal couple with and Mr. and miniature brass candlesticks which were hand-crafted in North Carolina.
