Women’s Display At Mall Spotlighting local achieve- ment of women in displays at Cleveland Mall will feature the local celebration of Women’s History Week. Betsy Wells, a local member of the Cleveland County Commission on Women, said that a booth at Cleveland Mall will spotlight the activities of Dr. Delia Dixon Carroll, first female Health Fair Set Monday A Health Fair for senior citizens of the Kings Moun- tain area on Monday, March 10th, at Central United Methodist Church, will offer a variety of free services to senior citizens. Precinct Meetings Thursday Precinct meetings will be held by Kings Mountain area Democrats Thursday night at 8 p.m. West Kings Mountain Democrats will meet at the National Guard Armory, East Kings Mountain at the Community Center, Bethware at Bethware School and Grover at the Grover Rescue Squad. All voting age citizens are encouraged to attend their precinct meetings and become involved in the elec- tion process. Major business of the Democrats will be to elect delegates to the Party’s con- vention to be held in Shelby at 11 a.m. April 5th. Grover Students Second Lynda Stewart’s fifth grade computer/math class was awarded second place in the category of K-6 class projects at the Mathematics Fair in Greensboro Friday. The fair was sponsored by the North Carolina Council of Teachers of Mathematics. Judging was based upon the demonstration, the mathematical concepts demonstrated, creativity, Alden's AT THE ELKS CLUB organization of ideas, thoroughness, clarity and at- tractiveness of the presenta- tion. The students used graphics screen location grids that divide the computer screen into the 64 horizontal and 32 vertical locations. These grids were used in planning the graphics illustration.
