Page 8A-KINGS MOUNTAIN HERALD-Thursday, May 1, 1986 Robbie Ervin Joins Staff Of Cooper’s Furniture Store Richard Barnette, Presi- dent of Cooper’s Inc., has an- nounced several changes in personnel at the Kings Moun- tain furniture store. Robbie G. Ervin, son of Mr. __and Mrs. Robert G. Ervin, Route 5, has joined Cooper’s in sales and merchandising. Ervin is a KMSHS graduate and was formerly employed with Sands Co. of Shelby as a salesman. He completed three years service with the Marine Corps with duty in Norfolk, Va. Barnette also announced the medical retirement of Marion Dean Payne, who has been associated with Cooper’s for 25 years and formerly served as manager of the store on Railroad Avenue. “We appreciate the loyalty and service which Dean Payne gave to Cooper’s and to the community,’’ said Barnette. ROBBIE ERVIN Dougle Davis will succeed Payne as manager of the firm and invites his friends and neighbors to visit him in his new location. VCRs Stolen In Break-In Friday At Mountain Video Vandals kicked open a door on the west side of Herald Publishing House at King and Canterbury Road Friday night and took three video cassette recorders after breaking a show case in an of- fice occupied by Mountain Video.
