Fulton Jr., Humes Houston, Paul Hullender, Elmer Owens, Wendell Phifer, Dr. George and Margaret Cooper Plonk, Thomas Roberts, James White, Maude Dengler McS- wain, Iva Faye Kennedy Belk, Mary Sue McGinnis Howard, Ruth Moss Masters, Wray Plonk, Dorothy Plonk Lewis, Aileen White Ball, and Ottie White Crosby. He is the grandson of Mrs. Faye Stewart of 135 McGinnis Street and great-grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Foster and Mrs. Barbara Burton, all of Kings Mountain. BUTLER JONATHAN Jonathan Eight Jonathan Butler, son of Kathy Welch of Kings Moun- tain, celebrated his 8th birth- day Dec. 8th. He is the grandson of Mrs. Faye Stewart of 135 McGinnis Street and great-grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Foster of Kings Mountain, Jonathan's mother is the former Bathy Butler, Jonathan also has a sister, Misty, age two and one half. Elam, Clyde Jonas Greene, Martin Luther Harmon Jr., Earl Erwin McGill, Paul Kennedy White, Fairy Grace Patterson, Jeanette Roberts and Eva Mae Suber. Dr. George Plonk, who was the class secretary, served as master of ceremonies, Other class officers were Earl McGill, president; Margaret Cooper, vice-president; and Dorothy Plonk, treasurer. Mascots were Patty Anne Neisler and Pete ‘‘Sonny’’ McDaniel. McDaniel attend- ed the reunion. The class col- ors were lavender and gold, the class motto was ‘‘Depart To Serve” and the class flower was the sweet pea. A special edition of the “Loud Speaker”, which in- cluded a class picture, class prophecy, last will and testa- ment, dedications and senior superlatives, were given to each classmate as they’ reminisced about their days at KMHS.
