MRS. GRADY RHEA, SR. Funeral services for Mrs. Dora Dixon Rhea, 93, of 1149 Lake Shore Drive, who died Wednesday in the Kings Mountain Convalescent Center, were conducted Fri- day at 2 p.m. from First Presbyterian Church of which she was a member. Dr. Eric Faust officiated at the service and interment was in Mountain Rest Cemetery. Mrs. Rhea was a native of Cleveland County, retired textile employee, and daughter of the late Lee and Martha Hawkins Dixon. She was widow of Grady Alex- ander Rhea, Sr. Surviving are six sons, James Rhea, Bobby Rhea, J.D. Rhea and Jack Rhea, all of Kings Mountain, Clyde Rhea of Grover, and Bill Rhea of Morrow, Ga., four daughters, Mrs. Doris Hamrick and Mrs. Linda Sanders, both of Kings Moun- tain, and Mrs. Wilma Hinson and Mrs. Hazel Folding, both of Douglas, Ga., three sisters, Mrs. Lillian Huss of Coral Gables, Fla., Mrs. Ida Thomasson and Mrs. Lydia Tucker, both of Halifax, N.C., 24 grandchildren, 24 great- grandchildren and one great- great grandchild. JESSIE KERR Graveside services for Miss Jessie Kerr, 102, former Kings Mountain resident, were held Tuesday at 4 p.m. from Elizabeth Baptist Church Cemetery in Shelby by Rev. Jeff Brendle. Miss Kerr, who lived in Kings Mountain many years ago, died in Lowman Nursing Home, White Rock, S.C., on Sunday. She was a native of Wellford, S.C., retired seamstress, and member of Rose Hill Presbyterian Church. She was daughter of the late Robert and Catherine Borders Kerr. Surviving are two sisters, Miss Pearl Kerr of Laurens, S.C. and Mrs. Julia Johnson of Greer, S.C. Rev. James Hamrick and Rev. David Engle officiated and interment was in Moun- tain Rest Cemetery. A native of York County, S.C., Mrs. Ray was the daughter of the late William and Lela Ramsey Morgan.
