City, SGA certificate. LINDA ROSS Linda Ross Gets Scholarship Linda McClinton Ross, business administration in- structor at Cleveland Technical College has been awarded an R.J. Reynolds Nabisco Scholarship to at- tend the Leadership Develop- ment Program at the Center for Creative Leadership in Greensboro. The summer workshop will help participants to develop their potential and the poten- tial of others. Through par- ticipative learning, the pro- gram seeks to improve leadership skills, innovative thinking and professional ef- fectiveness. Since 1973, hundreds of organizations have sent managers and executives to the Leadership Development Program which is available at ten regional locations in the U.S. Ross, a native of Gastonia, graduated from Highland High School and Cleveland Technical College. She has a B.A. degree in business ad- ministration from Limestone College, and an M.S. degree in educational administration from NCA&T Greensboro. She has been a full-time in- structor at Cleveland Tech since October, 1978. AARP MEETING Jerry Bledsoe, program director for WKMT Radio, will be guest speaker at Tuesday’s meeting of Kings Mountain Chapter AARP at 3 p.m. at Depot Center. Located in Anderson, SC, Anderson Place will provide full ser- vice, continuing care retire- ment services for residents aged 60 and older. Mrs. Glymph will work with Morrisons Management Services to provide total management for the seventy condominiums and 44 nursing care beds. On May 15, Mrs. Glymph was awarded the Masters SUZANNE GLYMPH Appointed Degree in Health Services Administration from the Medical University of South Carolina. She is a licensed nursing home administrator and has completed additional studies in gerontology and music therapy.
