The 15,000 square feet facility will offer over 10,000 items in the hard- ware, plumbing, electrical, building and appliance line. In addition, the facility will also house Reynolds Realty Company, which is now located at 120 York Road. Reynolds expects comple- tion of the facility and 50’ by 100’ lumber shed in the next two months. The office space to be occupied by his realty Sopa will be 1,016 square eet. ACE operates more than 5,000 stores nationwide. It is headquartered in Oakbrook, Ill. and is presently construc- ting a 40,000 square feet warehouse in Charlotte. Reynolds also announced that his company has begun grading and clearing for the Kennedy Hills sub-division off Cleveland Avenue near WKMT Radio. The project will include 16 single family dwellings. Comfort Inn To Open In KM JRA Enterprise announces the opening of their first motel in Kings Mountain. The motel will begin receiving guests during the second week of September. The motel, which will be operated as Comfort Inn, is developed to meet growing needs of the city of Kings Mountain as well as increasing traffic on I-85. It is located on Highway 161 at I-85. The Comfort Inn will have, initially, 72 rooms and can be expanded to 110 rooms. The HOLT ROBINSON total cost of the project is estimated at $3 million when fully developed. The facility will employ 20 employees. The motel will feature ex- tra large 12 executive kings rooms, 17 rooms for single oc- cupancy, three rooms for handicapped guests and 49 rooms for double occupancy. All rooms are equipped with color-TV with remote control and extra long beds. The kings rooms offer such amen- ties as 25" color console TV Robinson Don Lineberger, President and CEO of First Community Bank in Gastonia announces that Holt D. Consumer Manager Robinson, 46, is a 24 year, widely experienced banking veteran, and most recently served as a Vice President of a regional bank with offices located in Gastonia. After graduating from Clin- ton High School, he received his BA degree at UNC-CH. He is a graduate of the following banking schools: Banking School of the South at LSU -Baton Rouge, La; National Commercial Bank Lending School - Norman, Oklahoma; MRS. TAYLOR N.C. Banking School - Chapel Hill, N.C.; and has taken courses and taught in the American Institute of Bank- ing. Robinson, along with his wife Helyn and two children are members of the First Presbyterian Church, Gastonia. He has been active in many other church, civic, and social activities in- cluding the Gaston Breakfast Rotary Club where he recent- ly served as President and now Treasurer.
