Sunday morning, Nov. 22, a neighbor who smelled smoke, discovered the body lying in the hallway floor of her apartment at 10:47 a.m. Kings Mountain police speculate that the fire started in a chair where the woman was sitting. Police believe Mrs. Roseboro was alone when the fire began since the doors to her apartment were bolted from the inside. The cause of the fire is still unknown.
