Who’s Who
Charles Tracy Bolin, son of
Charles William and
Elizabeth Brown Bolin of
Kings Mountain, has been
selected for inclusion in the
1988 edition of ‘“Who’s Who
Among Students in American
Universities and Colleges ”’
along with 30 other students
from Lenoir Rhyne College.
He is a senior majoring in
Music and Math Education.
The students were chosen
by campus nominating com-
mittees and editors of the
Who’s Who annual directory,
based on academic achieve-
ment, service to the com-
munity, leadership in ex-
tracurricular activities and
potential for continued suc-
cess.
They join a distinctive
group selected from more
than 1,400 institutions of
higher education in the
United States and several
foreign countries.
Outstanding students have
been honored in the “Who’s
Who” directory since its first
publishing in 1934.
Lenoir-Rhyne is a four-yer
liberal arts college owned
and operated by the North
Carolina Synod of the
Evangelical Lutheran
Church in America.

Crime Of The Week
The Cleveland County Sheriff’s Department is seeking
assistance from the public concerning the armed robbery
which occurred Dec. 9, 1987, about 9:30 p.m. at the Midpines
Pantry near Kings Mountain. It was reported that a black
male, approximately 6’3” to 6°5”, 200-225 pounds, entered
through the front door and demanded that the cash register
be opened. The suspect then removed the money and fled the
scene on foot.
Anyone having information about this crime is eligible to
receive a cash reward of up to $1,000.00. You may qualify for
this reward by calling 481-TIPS (481-8477). You do not have to
give your name and confidentiality is guaranteed.
