Funeral services for John
Gaither Sanders, 83, of 508
Linwood Road, who died
Saturday, will be conducted
Monday at 3 p.m. from
Penleys Chapel Methodist
Church.
Rev. Leonard Huffstetler
and Rev. Hoyle Simpson will
officiate and interment will
be in Mountain Rest
Cemetery.
A retired grocer, Mr.
Sanders owned and operated
Sanders Grocery on Linwood
Road for a number of years.
He was a native of Cleveland
County, son of the late
William and Bessie Allen
Sanders. :
Surviving are his wife,
Ollie Peterson Sanders; two
daughters, Dot Fletcher of
Kings Mountain and Ruth
ranklin of Chester,S.C., one
