Trinity Day School Christmas Program Held A standing-room-only crowd witnessed the recent Christmas program presented by children of Trinity Day School. Headmaster Steve Wells welcomed the group and Rev. Thomas Hudson gave the in- vocation. “The Nativity”’, which in- cluded an arrangement of Christmas carols, featured Kyle Lovelace as Joseph, Kimberly Stinchcomb as Mary; Jennifer Bumgardner, Carrie Sizemore, Miranda Dixon, Kristin Feemster as angels; Renaldo Tate, Bradley Goforth, Tyler Chap- man, J. Chapman as shepherds; Craig Ledford, Kesanio Adams, and Mark Wells as wise men; and Chad Bridges as drummer boy. The other children sang the carols while Mrs. Diane Davis, head teacher nar- rated. The second portion of the program was entitled, ‘‘The Christmas Snowman’ and in- cluded “Jingle Bells”, “The Snowman’’, ‘‘Funny Little Snowman’ and ‘Sammy the Snowman.’’ The children who performed were Dana Melvin as Sammy; Julia Stracham as squeaky squirrel; and Nina Gregory as Fanny Fieldmouse. The other children sang the songs while Mrs. Davis narrated. The final part of the pro- gram featured ‘‘Santa’s Toy Shop’ and a variety of popular Christmas songs were sung. Participating were Lindsey Gaffney as San- ta; Stephanie Rikard as Mrs. Claus; Adam Blanton, Mat- thew Bridges, Tyler Falls and Cathy Bryant as elves; Brandi Cook, Toni Adams, LaShanda Stowe and Krystalee Haskins as dolls; Ashley Limbaugh as teddy bear; Patty Duncan as jump- ing jack; Jennifer Haynes, Bill Phifer, Drenda Byers, Jason West and Kenny Grant as reindeers. After the program, which was videotaped, Headmaster Wells, invited the group to the kitchen for refreshments. Trinity Day School is the oldest school in Kings Moun- tain and offers a morning school program and an after- noon day care program for 3-5 year olds. The Head teacher is Diane Davis whose aide is Patricia Phillips and they have the 4-5 year olds. The three year olds are taught by Eleanor Scism, assisted by Sandra Petty.
