EES OBITURRIES THOMAS WITHROW Funeral services for Thomas Withrow, 82, of Route 1, who died Feb. 7 in Cleveland Hospital, were conducted Friday at 3 p.m. from Brooks Chapel United Methodist Church cemetery. Mr. Withrow was a native of Cleveland County, son of the late Thomas Withrow, Sr. and Amanda E. Withrow. Survivors include his wife, Olivia Lowe Withrow; five sons, T.C. Withrow of Shelby, A.C. Lewis and Marie Johnson of Brooklyn, N.Y., Helen Birthdays Lindsey One Year Old Lindsey Megan Hawes celebrated her first birthday Friday, Feb. 12. She was honored at a birthday party Sunday, Feb. 14, at 3 p.m. at the home of her great-uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Ron- nie L. Pearson of 206-Fair- view. The teddy bear theme was carried out with a teddy bear cake, ice cream and party favors served to family and friends present. Friends and family helping Lindsey celebrate were Carolyn and Yogi Cobb, Wilma and Freelove Pearson, Erin Joy, Danny and Wendy McAbee, Kenny McAbee, Jean and Angie Bolin, Gloria Duncan, Gina Holmes and Dan Ascue. Children present were Michelle, Amy and Chad Pearson, Tisa and Patty Dun- can, Heather Wilson and Rus- ty and Melissa McAbee, all of Kings Mountain. MAEGAN SPICER Maegan Celebrates Birthday Maegan Nichole Spicer celebrated her fourth birth- day on Monday, Jan. 25, at the Pizza Hut. After pizza, a Raggedy Ann Birthday cake was cut and served with ice cream. Cupcakes were served on Tuesday, Jan. 26, to Maegan and classmates at St. Mat- thew’s Pre-school. Maegan is the daughter of Tim and Robin Spicer and the granddaughter of Dean and Betty Spears and Beuford and Gloria Spicer. She is the great-great niece of Bert Blanton, all of Kings Moun- tain. It's A Girl For Glymphs Mr. and Mrs. Donnie Glymph of Lake Keeweed, Seneca, S.C., announce the birth of their first child, Michelle Amos Glymph, February 10 at Oconee Memorial Hospital in Seneca. The baby weighed seven pounds, 11 ounces. She was 20% inches long. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Jim Amos of Kings Mountain and Mr. and Mrs. Max Glymph of Westminister, S.C. Great- grandparents are Mrs. Bertie Amos of Kings Mountain and Mrs. M.J. Stansell of Westminister, S.C. Irs. Glymph is the former Suzanne Amos of Kings Mountain. It’s A Girl For Heaths Rev. and Mrs. John Heath announce the birth of their fourth child, a daughter, Christa Genelle, Sat., Feb. 6. Other members of the family are John, Jr., Robert and Stephen. Lindsey is the daughter of Vonda Hawes and grand- daughter of Bill and Brenda Foster of 805 Second Street. She is the great- granddaughter of Mrs. Mae Foster, the late John Lindsey Foster and the late Russell and Jossephine McAbee all of Kings Mountain. LINDSEY HAWES Withrow and Leola Brown of Jamaica, N.Y., Yvonne Cole of Shelby, Charlee Crocker and Patricia Withrow of Kings Mountain; brother, John Aster Peeler of Buffalo, N.Y. sister , Annie Mae Lowe of New Jersey; 35 grand- children and 12 great- grandchildren. JESSICA BOLEN Graveside services for Jessica Bridgett Bolen, two- months-old daughter of George Bolen and Kimberly Patterson White Bolen, were conducted Friday at 3 p.m. from Mountain Rest Cemetery by Rev. Buddy Williams and Rev. Danny McCurry. The baby died Wednesday in Charlotte Memorial Hospital. Also surviving are two brothers, Phillip Bolen and Justin Bolen; and a sister, Ashley Bolen, and the mater- nal grandmother, Mrs. Margaret Patterson of Kings Mountain.
