JOHN E, BRIDGES Susan McNeill McNeill-Bridges Pair Married In Lincolnton First United Methodist Church of Lincolnton was the setting Feb. 20th for the 3 p.m. wedding uniting Miss Susan Rike McNeill and John Edgar Bridges. Rev. Bill Haire and R._v. Frank Cook officiated at the double-ring ceremony for which wedding music was presented by Mrs. Cecil Brown. The bride, given in mar- riage by her father, wore a candlelight gown of peau finish taffeta designed with a sheer marquisette yoke, lace, mandarin collar and long tapered bridal sleeves edged in lace. The empire line gown with fitted bodice had an overlay of Venice and Schiffli lace which fell in a capelett effect. The A-line skirt which extended into a chapel length train was hemmed in the matching scalloped lace. Her two tier veil with embroided scalloped edging was held by a Victorian hat edged with matching lace and patterned with seed pearls.
