Pruitt Sr., 56, of 2301 Jeffer-
son Avenue, died Saturday.
Services were conducted
Tuesday at 4 p.m. at
Carothers Funeral Home by
Rev. Ned Buckner and Rev.
Robert Summey. Burial was
in Gaston Memorial Park.
Mr. Pruitt was a native of
Glendale, S.C., and son of the
late Jerry and Clarabell
Adams Pruitt. He was an Air
Force veteran of the Korean
War, member of New Hope
Baptist Church and vice
president of manufacturing
at Parkdale Mills.
Surviving are his wife,
