Department of Com- merce, will be guest speaker at Monday’s meeting of the Kings Mountain Economic Development Commission. Ms. Sandra Wesniewski, specialist in visitation and assistance to existing in- dustry, will also be on the program. The group meets at noon at Holiday Inn for lunch and program. Chairman John Moss said that all chairmen of commit- tees are reminded to bring materials for inclusion in a brochure to be distributed by the EDC about Kings Moun- tain. The EDC was recently organized by the Chamber of Commerce with Moss, former mayor, as chairman. Last month, Moss named chairmen of committees who met with their members to outline KM area needs for ex- isting industry as well as new industry and all the material is to be compiled for a new Kings Mountain brochure to be distributed in the area. Geouge and Wesniewski are expected to present ideas on how to attract new in- dustry as well as how to keep existing industry in their pro- gram, open to the public. Mike Brown, developer, is requesting the reduction of pavement width in subdivi- sion regulations. Robert E.Lee,developer, will present preliminary plat for Country Creek Phase III.
