The Lagas listen to music as
well as play it; they like to read,
attend ballet, concerts and tour.
They watch very little TV. Jeff

AFS students are selected
because of their high academic
ability, their desire to participate
in an intense educational ex-
perience, their personal maturi-
ty, and their ability to be our am-
bassadors abroad. AFS is guided
by ithe principle that individuals
and families can leave the world
different from the way they
found it and that these in-
dividuals and families, from
diverse cultures and socio-
economic backgrounds, discover
the richness of their differences
and the abundance of their
similiarities when they live and
work together toward common
goals.
