Jonathan Cox, interment following in Parklawn Cemetery in Kansas City. He was employed by AT&T Microelectronics and was a member of St. Luke’s United Viemadist Chruch in Kansas Ci- y: He was the son of Roy and Floice Jolley McNeely of Shelby. Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his wife, Carol Bron- dage McNeely; his sons, Ronald Lee McNeely of Excelsior Spr- ings, Mo. and Timothy Buren McNeely of the home; a brother, James McNeely of Shelby; and five sisters, Elsie Bridges, Myr- tle McNeely and Lorene Beaver of Kings Mountain, Dorothy Capps of Gastonia and Joyce Welch of Shelby. Memorials may be made to New Camp Creek Baptist Church. VIRGINIA HENSON Funeral services for Mrs. Virginia Welch Henson, 59, of 1510 S. Post Road, Shelby, who died Monday in Cleveland Memorial Hospital, were con- ducted Friday at 11 a.m. by Rev. Rochelle Ingle, interment follow- ing in Cleveland Memorial Park. Mrs. Henson was a native of Clarksville, Tenn. and was formerly employed as a nurse at Kings Mountain Convalescent Center. She was the daughter of the late Arthur and Sadie Welch. She is survived by her hus- band, Grover Edsel Henson; two sons, Wayne Henson of Shelby and Jerry Henson of Honolulu, Hawaii; a brother, Paul Welch of Guthrie, Ky.; a sister, Frances West of Kingman, Ariz.; step- mother, Hallie Welch of Clarksville, Tenn.; two half brothers, Ross Welch of Clarksville and Sonny Welch of California; two half sisters, Mabel Carpenter of Clarksville and Ruby McNaught of Tewsbury, Mass. and a grand- child. STANLEY W. WYATT GAFFNEY, S.C. - Funeral ser- vices for Stanley Wayne Wyatt, 28, of Route 5, formerly of Kings Mountain, were held Monday at 4 p.m. at Rehobeth Baptist Church. Rev. Richard Harrison and Rev. Clifford Phillips officiated and interment was in the church cemetery. Wyatt was killed in an automobile accident Sunday. He was a native of New Jersey, son of Mrs. Rhonda Jones Wyatt Henson and the late J.D. Wyatt and husband of Donna Biddix Wyatt. he was Baptist. Surviving, in addition to his wife and mother, are his son, Tyler Wayne Wyatt of the home; two brothers, John David Wyatt of Gaffney and James William Wyatt of Cowpens, S.C.; one sister, Linda Wyatt Rhinehardt of Blacksburg, S.C., his step- father, Don Henson of Cowpens, S.C., maternal grandmother, Mrs. Virginia Jones of Cowpens, S.C. and paternal grandmother, Mrs. Lucille Wyatt of Gaffney, S.C. Pallbearers were Butch Allen, Mike Sprouse, Tom and Davis Wheeler, John Morris, Jerry Lit- tleton, Phillip Gardner and Rick Trombley. DOVIE DOVER Funeral services for Dovie Stinnett Dover, 71, of 111 Terrace Drive, Bessemer City, who died Aug. 2 in the Cleveland Memorial Hospital, were conducted Friday at 4 p.m. from Sisk-Butler Funeral Home by Rev. Claude Russ, interment following in Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery. A native of Sevierville, Tenn., she was the widow of David Dover and the daughter of the late Samuel and Laura Knight Stinnett. She is survived by four sons, Jim Smith of Gastonia, Gary Smith of Kings Mountain, Bobby Smith and Roger Gee of Bessemer City; four daughters, Kay Dobbins of Gastonia and Charlotte Clark, Brenda Koonce, and Desiree LaCount of Bessemer City; a brother, Gor- don Stinnett of Charlotte; 20 grandchildren and 13 great- grandchildren. Memorial services were held at 4 p.m. at Boyce Memorial ARP Church of which she was a member. Dr. William Tyson, assisted by Dr. Harris Blair, conducted the rites. A Gaston County native, she was a retired school teacher and the daughter of the late E. Leslie and Belle Ferguson Crawford. She is survived by her hus- band, Lewis Hovis; a daughter, Nancy Archer of Kensington, Md., three sisters, Elizabeth Grier of Gastonia, Janie Hall of Cherryville and Lois Smith of Lumberton and two grand- children. BANER CRAWFORD Funeral services for Baner McDaniel Crwford, 79, of 808 4th St., who died Friday in Gaston Memorial Hospital, were con- ducted Sunday at 4 p.m. at Har- mony Baptist Church in Gastonia. Rev. Ben Summitt, Rev. Ro Clark and Rev. Jerry Morrow of- ficiated and interment was in Mountain Rest Comstary. A native of Georgia, she was a retired textile employee and the daughter of the late Harley and Amanda Cannon Padgett. She was the wife of the late Robert Crawford and her first husband was the late Forrest McDaniel. Survivors include four daughters, Lois White of Winston Salem; Bertha Rogers, Julia Lockridge, and Inez Hutto of Kings Mountain; three brothers, Calvin Finley of Cherryville, Herbert Finley of Ernul and Ernest Cannon of Canton, Ga., a sister, Ruby Angel of Weaversville, 17 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Rev. John Harris officiated at the rites and interment was in Mountain Rest Cemetery. Mrs. Owens was a former tex- tile employee and the daughter of the late Pierce and Elsie Grant Reinhardt. She was a native of Rutherford County. Before moving to Beaufort, S.C., the family resided in the White Plains Community near Kings Mountain. Survivors include her husband, Charles Owens; four sons, Doug Sutton of Kings Mountain, David Sutton of Charlotte, Greg Sutton and Jeffrey Sutton, th of Beaufort; a daughter, Patricia Ann Owens of the home; three brothers, Harold Reinhardt of * Greensboro, Coman Reinhardt of Almeidia, Calif., and Joe Dean Reinhardt of New Haven, Conn. and five grandchildren. Alder- Mrs. Dilling was a native of Kings Mountain, daughter of the late Thomas and Ollie Reel King. She was a charter member of First United Methodist Church of Charlotte and retired from Can- non Mills. Surviving are her son, John B. Dilling of Kings Mountain; two brothers, Charles King of Con- cord and Walter King of Lan- caster, S.C., one sister, Gertrude Williams of Charlotte; five grandchildren and eight great- grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Central United Methodist Church or to the charity of the donor’s choice. BILL HORD Graveside masonic rites for William Miles (Bill) Hord, 59, of 812 Waters St., Shelby, who died Tuesday at home, will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. from Rosehill Memorial Park in Fallston. A Kings Mountain native, he was the son of Mrs. Edna Ware Hord of Kings Mountain and the late Jake Hord, Sr. He was mar- ried to Genette Warlick Hord, who also survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Marian Hritz of Orlando, Fla., two brothers, Jake Hord, Jr. of Gastonia and Ronnie Hord of Altoona, Pa., one sister, Mrs. Maxine Bennett of Kings Mountain; and one grand- child. Hord was employed as Customer Service Represen- tative for Porter Brothers in Shelby. He was member and treasurer of Shelby Lodge 744 AF&AM, Scottish Rite of Free Masonry Valley of Charlotte, Oasis Shrine Temple, of Charlotte, and member of Pied- mont Shrine Club and Piedmont Pistons. He was also a member of West View Baptist Church of Shelby. The family will receive friends Wednesday night from 7 until 9 p.m. at Clay Barnette Funeral Home, Shelby. DAVID RAMSEY GROVER - Graveside services for David Scott Ramsey, infant son of LInda Gail Allen of Route 1, Grover, and Larry Scott Ramsey of Cherokee Falls, S.C., were held Tuesday at 4 p.m. at Mountain Rest Cemetery by Rev. R.N. Lemmons. The child died Monday in Cleveland Memorial Hospital.
