Career Day Is Scheduled Nearly 2,000 students from local high schools (Burns, Crest, Kings Mountain, Shelby, Manna Christian, and Twelve Oaks Academy) and CCC students are expected to attend Cleveland Community College's fourth annual Career Day, Wednesday, February 15 from 9:00 to 11:30 AM on the campus. The concert entitled, "Afro- American Celebration,” will be a celebration of ancestry for both artists. Larke will perform music and stories of the Afro-American experience and Nyaho will present a classical piano recital. Together the artists will perform a medley of sto- ries and music from Myaho's native region of Ghana, West Africa. This event is free and open to the public. For more information call 484-4025. KM's Pam Morrow Teaching Fifth Graders At Fallston Pam Morrow of Kings Mountain completed her student teaching in December, 1988. She is employed at Fallston Elementary in the fifth grade. Pam graduated from UNC- Charlotte with a 4.0 grade point av- erage and received a Bachelor of Arts in Education. She was on the Chancellor's list for the fall semester. To qualify for the list, one must be a full-time student and earn a grade point average of at least 3.80 in 12 or more semester hours. Pam is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Morrow.
