Dr. Randy C. Gardner, Pastor, sums it up this way. "The idea behind Friend Day is very simple. On Friend Day, April 2, each person will bring a friend to Sunday School. This friend should be someone who is not currently a member of our Sunday School but is a prospect. After Friend Day members will follow up on these persons.” Why Friend Day? Here again is Dr. Gardner's explanation, "We want to reach people for Christ. We want our friends to experience Christ in us. We want to share with them all that the Gospel of Christ can mean. We want our friends in Sunday School with us." Members are encouraged to bring a friend with them to Friend Day. Members are also encouraged to get excited about sharing the Gospel message with those who need to hear it. Friend Day is Coming.
