BETHLEHEM BAPTIST
What is "Friend Day"? Dr.
Randy C. Gardner, Pastor, sums it
up this way. "The idea behind
Friend Day is very simple. On
Friend Day, April 2, each person
will bring a friend to Sunday
School. This friend should be
someone who is not currently a
member of our Sunday School but
is a prospect. After Friend Day
members will follow up on these
persons.”
Why Friend Day? Here again is
Dr. Gardner's explanation, "We
want to reach people for Christ. We
want our friends to experience
Christ in us. We want to share with
them all that the Gospel of Christ
can mean. We want our friends in
Sunday School with us."
Members are encouraged to
bring a friend with them to Friend
Day. Members are also encouraged
to get excited about sharing the
Gospel message with those who
need to hear it. Friend Day is
Coming.
On Sunday night, March 19 at
7:00 p.m. the children's choir will
be presenting the musical,
"Amazing Grace." This is a pro-
gram that the whole family will en-
joy.
The weekend of March 10 and
11 will be "Youth Weekend." All
youth are encouraged to come and
participate in this time.
There is an opening for someone
to serve in the Youth Department
in Sunday School. No experience
is necessary - except that you love
God!! Working with youth can be
one of the most rewarding and ful-
filling ministries available in any
church.
Happy Birthday: March 5, Laura
Bridges; March 6, Fannie Cobb

Ralph Stansell from Easley, S.C.
will be guest speaker on Sunday,
March 12. Ralph is not only a
Gideon, but came to know the Lord
through a Gideon Bible that had
been placed in the right spot. What
a testimony this man has as to how
he got saved! All will want to hear
him as he speaks of this and of the
great work the Gideons do in get-
ting the Bible into the hands of
people all over the world.
Recently the Robersons spoke at
Kings Mountain Baptist about the
great work that Southern Baptists
are doing in America. The only
thing that keeps them from doing
more is a lack of funds. During this
Easter season and during the Annie
Armstrong Missions Offering

for missionaries and give from a
