Lisa Lund, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Harry Lund, Jr., of 113
Heritage Lane, Kings Mtn., has
been awarded the prestigious North
Carolina Teaching Fellows
Scholarship. Miss Lund, a June
graduate of Kings Mountain Senior
High , will be entering Meredith
College in August as a freshman.
Meredith College is designated a
Teaching Fellows Institution by the
North Carolina Teaching Fellows
commission and was one of 7 in
NC selected to host the program.
The Fellows Program, established

addition, each recipient enrolling at
Meredith will also receive grants
coordinated by the college to as-
sure full coverage of her tuition,
