Neil Baird Bible Class of Boyce Memorial ARP Church will spon- sor the annual chicken pie lunch and supper Saturday. Serving will start at 11 a.m. at the church. Dwain Lynch will be chef for the meals. Tickets are $4 and proceeds will be used for the church's house at Bon Clarken. Diners may eat in the fellowship hall or take out orders. A yard sale will begin on the church grounds at 7 a.m. 'Old Timey Day" At Second Baptist Second Baptist Church is rolling out the red carpet for members, former members and friends to at- tend "Old Timey Day" on Sunday, a program which launches the 75th anniversary celebration of the church. CASH PRIZES TO Worshipers will dress in the styles of the 1915 era since 1915 was the year Second Baptist Church was organized. The Sunshine Choir of senior citizens will present special music. After the worship hour, picnic lunch will be spread and numerous "fun" activities are planned, includ- ing an early buggy ride by Pastor Gene Land. A photographer will be on hand to make pictures of the family groups. Long Branch Choir Sets Anniversary The Long Brach First Baptist Church Spiritual Choir will cele- brate its first anniversary with a singing Sunday at 2:30 p.m. The choir will be under the di- rection of Christopher Gray. Featured group will be "The Heavenly Echoes." The public is invited. First Wesleyan Youth To Sponsor Car Wash The youth of First Wesleyan Church will sponsor a car wash Saturday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the church on Piedmont Avenue. Cars will be washed for $5 in- side and out or $3 for the outside only. All proceeds go to church activi- ties. The USAA has established the All-American Scholar Award pro- gram in order to offer deserved recognition to superior students who excel in the academic disci- plines.
