Jack Abernathy, 43, of Dallas, Herman Jackson, 35, of Gastonia, and Ricky Anderson, 33, of Gastonia; $10,000 secured. : INCIDENTS «Kings Mountain Phillips 66, 600 E: King St., reported larceny of $10.16 of gasoline. “Handy Pantry, 225 Cleveland Avenue, reported larceny of beer valued at $33.98. “William Lamar Gamble, 92 Pine Manor, reported breaking and en- tering and larceny of a microwave oven valued at $150 and 2 Saunddesign speakers valued at $50. Kings Mountain Express Store, 212 King St., reported larceny of gas worth $10, Janice Rae Lavere, 702 West Mountain Street, reported theft of a gold ring, two gold necklaces and a silver wedding ring set. Estimated loss is undetermined. Gerald Wayne Rikard, 900 N. Cansler St, reported theft of a Homelite 360 chainsaw valued at $425 and a craftsman assorted hand tools set valued at $500. Helen Williams of 2029 Redwood Circle, reported the theft of a Wizard 24 inch push lawn- MOWE. Kathy Diane Tallent, 310 Wilson Terrace, reported that clothes were taken from her apartment and burned, estimated damage undeter- mined. Chesterfield Apartments report- ed a door kicked in. The damage was estimated at $200. David Wylie Lawrence, PO Box 245 Carolina Ave., Grover, report- ed his car was scratched by car keys, estimated damage, $200. Linda Brock Robinson, Apt 71 Pine Manor, reported the theft of a 20 inch RCA color television, a small digital clock, meat taken from the freezer and a 12 inch fan, estimated loss, $150. Sarah Wilson Brittian, 306 Phiefer Rd., reported the theft of various pieces of jewelry, a 25 au- tomatic, and one glass door, esti- mated loss is not determined. Family Dollar Store, 108-110 E. King St., reported larceny of one pair of Lady Brat High Tops (Girls Shoes), valued at $11. The Pantry Store, Phifer Rd., re- ported larceny of gasoline valued at $22.53. Alberta M. Thombs. 112 North Oriental Ave., reported theft of $50 in cash, damage to a front door and a bedroom door. Damage to the doors estimated at $50 each. Pam White, 1013 A. Linwood Road, reported damage to property. Her Mazda truck was scratched with a sharp object. Damage is es- timated at $300. Kay Francis Phillips, Apartment 48 Pine Manor, reported larceny of an AFDC check valued at $231. WRECKS While making a left turn from Railroad Avenue onto Mountain Street, Seay Marcellos of Jacksonville, Florida, operating a 1990 Chevy, hit the left side of a parked 1987 Toyota, owned by Gloria Jean Slycord of 512 Monroe Avenue. Jerry Dean Gregg of Clover and Ernest Leon Hamrick of1065 Barnett Drive collided on King Street. Gregg, driving a a 1980 Chevy truck stated he was making a left turn onto Sims St. and did not see Hamrick. Hamrick, driving a 1987 Toyota truck stated Gregg turned left in ‘ront of him. Alexande: Goforth Carroll Jr., 702 E. King St. was charged with following too closely after his 1985 Honda ran into the back of Hazel Ashcraft Jackson's 1985 Chevy as Jackson attempted to turn right from W. Gold Street onto Goforth Street. Kristi Michelle Johnson of 412 1 Stoney Point Road and Marilyn Biggers Neisler of 403 Neisler Rd. Free Business Seminars Set At Cleveland College Several free business seminars have been scheduled at Cleveland Community College. "Financing . . Your: . Small Business” will be presented Sept. 12 from 6-9 p.m. in Room 1140. Brian Hamilton will be the presen- ter and will discus sources of funds, finding the right lender, get- ting business loans approved, avoiding common mistakes in ap- || plying for funds, and cover busi- ness plans and loan applications. "Conducting Meetings That Get Results" will be presented by Tim Whitener Sept. 18 from 6-9 in Room 1140. Both drivers claimed green at the intersection of King Street and Cansler Street. James Richard Deaton of Kings Mountain and Christopher Wade Bumgardner of 922 Oak Grove Rd. were involved in an accident on North Piedmont Lane. Deaton in his 1986 Mercury was attempting to pass Bumgardner in his 1986 Volvo. An accident involving William Raymond Lightsey, 106 Merrigold Street and Mark Sanders of Grover took place in the Kings Mountain Jr. High School Parking lot. No ci- tations were given.
