STEPHEN KALE BAGWELL (Maribeth Briscoe) Sriscoe-Bagwell Maribeth Briscoe of Tucson, Ariz. and Stephen Kale Bagwell of Kings Mountain were united in marriage October 6 in a 5:30 p.m. icxican Fiesta-style wedding ceremony at the San Miguel Club House The bride is the daughter of James A. Briscoe of Tucson and Alexis Green of Raleigh. Her step-mother is Mardee Briscoe of Tucson. The groom is the son of Dan and Ruth Bagwell of Kings Mountain and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Clippard of Kings Mountain. The bride's father gave her in marriage. She wore a floor-length white atin gown which was adored by white roses on the shoulder and in the scalloped hem line, and trimmed in white seed pearls. She wore a crown of white roses and baby's breath in her hair and carried a bouquet of white roses, alstamaria lilies, ferns and other greenery. Maid of honor was Elizabeth LaSalle of Tucson. Kathy Oyama of San Francisco and the bride's sisters, Jennifer and Lacey Briscoe, both of Dan Bagwell of Kings Mountain was his son's best man. The bride's brother, Austin Briscoe, was usher. The bride is a native of Tucson and a 1986 graduate of Catalina High School, where she played on the state championship soccer team. Grace Bazaar Set Saturday The United Methodist Women of Grace United Methodist Church will sponsor a bazaar Saturday be- ginning at 7 a.m. in the church fel- lowship hall at 830 Church Street. Breakfast and lunch will be served. Crafts will be sold, there will be a bake shop, infant shop, second time around shop, country store and yard sale. There will be balloons and popcorn for the chil- dren. The public is invited. Gospel Singing Set At Holiness Church The Holiness Christian Mission, corner of Second and Blanton Streets in Kings Mountain, will sponsor a gospel singing Saturday at 7 p.m. Featured groups will be the "Southern Mountaineers’ and the "Singing Hayes Family" of Kings Mountain, The public is invited. Revival Scheduled At First Wesleyan Dr. Marlin Mull will be the evangelist for revival services at First Wesleyan Church in Kings Mountain October 21-24. Dr. Mull will speak at the 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. worship services on Sun., Oct. 21. All other services will be held at 7 p.m. Monday through Wednesday. The public is invited.
