a BR i { Photo by Jeff Grigg GETTING READY FOR SALE - Kings Mountain Convalescent Center is sponsoring a craft and bake sale Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the dining room. Bake goods, hot dogs and ham biscuits will be sold, as well as numerous craft items. Saturday, the center will sponsor a lock-up with Kings Mountain police do- nating time and judges. For a $5 fee, you can have a friend locked up in a special jail outside the Convalescent Center. In addition to this class, the Parks and Recreation Department will also be conducting an evening class on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30-7:30. Fees are $10 per month for senior citizens. *Lawyers from Catawba Valley Legal Services will be at the Senior Center Friday from 1-3 p.m. . Lawyers visit the center the first Friday of every moth to assist se- nior citizens. The services are free. Any senior citizens needing legal services are urged to contact the Senior Center for an appointment. \ *The Senior Center has planned two dances and socials for senior citizens this month.
