Ronald Wayne Thomas Jr. Ed Greer, 30, of 3400 Margrace Road, drunk and disruptive. William Tracy Herndon, 25, of 28 Parrish Drive, larceny. Roger Dale Suttles, 29, of 810 Second St., DWI and reckless driving. Larry Joe Morrison, 42, General Delivery, simple trespassing. Theodore Roosevelt Jr., 23, of 227 Ebenezer Road, having handgun on school ground. Shawn Woods, 19, of 1515 N. Weldon St., Gastonia, no insurance. James Wilson Marchant, 23, of 210 Fairview St., driving while license re- voked. Derrick Anthony Logan, 20, of 36 Dixon School Road, assault with dead- ly weapon inflicting serious injury. Angel Alexander, 19, of 214 Parrish Drive, worthless check. Darrell Crocker, 23, of 316 Ebenezer Road, assault inflicting seri- ous injury. David McCall Jr., 28, of 4704 Robinson Road, Gastonia, DWI. INCIDENTS James Joyce, of 410 N. Cansler St., reported a break-in at his residence and larceny of a wall clock, leather coat, tools, toolbox and fishing gear esti- mated at $2200 and $100 damage to a window. Break-In Suspect Arrested Inside Clyde Short Company Kings Mountain police surprised an unsuspecting break-in suspect Sunday morning while searching a warehouse after they found a bro- ken padlock. George Waller reported the theft of his tag while the car was parked in Food Lion parking lot. Mae Morrow, 827 Church St., re- ported a break-in.She said thieves took frozen meats, a lawn mower, mi- crowave oven, portable television, weedeater and miscellaneous items valued at $1,000 while doing $250 damage to her house. The Pantry, 225 N. Cleveland Ave., reported larceny of $15.91 worth of gas hicle was parked on Third Street. Sharon McClain, 213 N. City Street, reported theft of checks and cash total- ing $400. Kings Mountain Express, King St., Dale Morrison, 209 Linwood Road, reported theft of money and checks from the trunk of his car while the ve- and ordered four meals and didn't pay for them. Tanning Hut, Grover Road, reported theft of a radio during a break-in. Hazel Vassey, 108 Walker Street, re- ported a break-in and damages amounting to $50. Glenda McKenzie, 203 Thornburg Drive, reported that her car widow was broken while she traveled on U.S. 74 Bypass. Mary Adams, 410 Tate Terrace, re- ported damage to her door during a ‘break-in. Tom Gilbert, 408 Country Club Acres, reported theft of a radar detector valued at $195 from his car. WRECKS DEC. 15 Ptl. Donald Martin charged Austin Lee Bell, of 609 Mary's Grove Road, with reckless driving after the truck he was operating hit a city sign and clipped a private fence before striking a telephone pole on Wells Street. Damages were estimated at $600 to the truck and $50 to a city posted sign for Community Watch. DEC. 16 A 16-year-old driver told Ptl. Melvin Procter that brakes on her 1978 Ford SW failed at Waco Road Washerette and struck the building knocking out the glass window and the bottom of the block wall doing $500 damage to the building owned by James Carroll. DEC. 21 Ptl. J. W. Hendrick Jr. said Angela Jean Bolin, of 412 Rollingbrook Road, failed to yield the right of way at KM Plaza parking lot in her 1987 Buick and struck a 1979 Pontiac operated by Derby Fox Russo, of Shelby. Damages ; were estimated at $2300. Ptl. R.K. Rikard said a a '1982 Mazda operated by Deborah Wood, of 915 Grace Street, was following too closely behind a 1986 Pontiac operated by Billy V. Wilkerson, of Gaffney, S.C., who slowed on West King Street to make a right turn into Wade Ford. The rear-end collision resulted in $700 damages. DEC. 22 A 1985 Pontiac operated by Martin J. Negus, of 102 Carpenter Street, hit a 1975 Ford at the stop light at King and Battleground operated by John C. Guiton Sr., of 1270 Second Street, do- ing $2,000 damage, according to Ptl. Joel Hendrick Jr. who said Negus failed to stop for the light. DEC. 22 Ptl. R. K. Rikard said a 1987 Mazda truck operated by Thomas W. Brest, of 532 Williamson St., Charlotte, ran the red light at Battleground and King and struck a 1977 Olds operated by Sandy F. Fredell said that a 1989 Pontiac operated by a 16-year-old driv- er was traveling west on Floyd Street when the passenger dropped a cake in the floor board and the driver reached to help recover it, turned the steering wheel and hit a fence post doing $500 damage to a fence at Clevemont Mill at : 501 York Road. Ptl. Bob Myers said a safe move- ment violation by Geneva Crawford, of 505 N. Cansler St., operating a 1982 Van, resulted in the collision with a 1987 Ford operated by Annie Leigh, of 506 Cansler Street, with minor dam- ages. Myers said both drivers were backing out of driveways onto N. Cansler Street at about the same time. DEC. 27 A 1983 Toyota truck operated by Carl D. Dockery, of Route 5, rear-end- ed a 1988 Chevrolet operated by Sara W. Toney, 140 Kristie Lane, at the stop light at the intersection of Piedmont and Linwood Road. Damages were es- timated at $450.
