A native of Belmont, he was married to Gladys McKinney Traywick, who survives, and was son of the late Henry Ward and Daisy Pennel Traywick. He was a World War II Navy veteran and a retired textile employee. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are one son, Larry Traywick of Dallas; three daughters, Mickey . Purvis and Cheryl Hannon, both of ' Grover, and Marlene Moss of Shelby; three sisters, Juanita Hicks of Belmont, Betty Phillips of Charlotte and Doris Fortenberry of Dallas; and six grandchildren ~The funeral will be conducted June 7, 1991 at 3 p.m. at Harris Chapel. GAIL ROBERTSON BOILING SPRINGS-Annabell Gail Robertson, 89, of 109 Daves Rd., died May 30, 1991 at Crawley Memorial Hospital. She was a native of Vance County, daughter of the late Robert Toney and Rosa Eakes Robertson. She was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church and the Ruth Sunday School Class. The funeral was conducted June 2, 1991 at 2 p.m. at Beaver Dam Baptist Church. Dr. Paul Sorrells officiated and burial was in Cleveland Memorial Park. JAMES PAUL HOUSER Charlotte - Mr. James "Paul" Houser, 81, of the Methodist Home, Charlotte, died June 4, 1991 at the Asbury Care Center, of the Methodist Home. A native of Cherryville, he was the son of the late Noah Lafayette and Eunice Bucknell Houser and formerly resided at 11 Park Drive, Belmont. For over 40 years, he was an ac- tive member of First United Methodist Church in Belmont, where he served in many capacities of church and Sunday School in- cluding serving as trustee and su- perintendent of the Sunday School. He attended UNC-Chapel Hill, and received his MA from Columbia University, N.Y. - Montgomery, CAST OF "LIVE IT TO MAX"-A youth-led revival June 7-9 at Allen Memorial Baptist Church in Grover will include the presentation of the musical," Live It To The Max" on Friday and Saturday nights and focuses on a group of Christians and their struggles through an average week. "You Need God" is the theme of the revival and preaching, skits, and special singing is being arranged by the youth group and is among a series of youth activities in preparation for a mission trip in mid-July to Pennsylvania. St. Peter's sets groundbreaking St. Peter Missionary Baptist Church in Grover will have a ground breaking ceremony Saturday at 3 p.m. The church plans to construct a new building which will connect to the existing structure. The new building will consist of a sanctuary, pastor's study, conference rooms, a lady's powder room and a men's room. Remarks will be given by Grover Mayor Bill McCarter, Cleveland County Commissioner C.F. Harry and Dr. S.A. Raper, moderator of the Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Association. Homecoming set at Penley's Chapel Homecoming is scheduled for Sunday at Penley's Chapel Church, Cherryville Highway, Kings Mountain.
