At the celebration of its 50th birthday, a trip through the finan- cial pages of the past 50 years brought to light the fact that the Junior Charity League has fur- nished aid to the community to the tune of over a half million dollars. A budget this year will be ad- ministered to provide assistance to MONICA BECTON needy individuals and to deserving community projects in Cleveland County. A total of 6,000 hours of service will be volunteered by the League's 103 active members and 126 sustaining members to pro- mote the successful projects.
