PHILIP AARON MALTBA Wright-Maltba Three Forks Baptist Church in Taylorsville was the setting for the December 28 wedding uniting Dorian Nicole Wright and Philip Aaron Maltba in marriage. Rev. David B. Horton, the couple's pastor, officiated the double-ring ceremony for which wedding music was presented by Shane Jenkins, pianist; Chad Hefner, trumpeter; Donnie Rogers and Joye Spencer, vo- calists, the bride's aunt and uncle, and by the Three Forks Men's Quartet. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Wright of Route 2 Taylorsville and granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Herschel L. Wright Sr. of Kings Mountain and granddaughter of Mrs. Howard Rogers of Taylorsville and the late Mr. Rogers. She is a junior at Lenoir Rhyne College at Hickory. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray C. Maltba of Route 8 Taylorsville and grandson of Mrs. Ella Mae Baird of Conover, Mrs. Margrette Truesdale of Granite Falls and Baxter Baird of Granite Falls. He is a draftsman with Leucadia, Inc., General Marble of Lincolnton. The bride was given in marriage by her father. Her gown of ivory satin was accented by Alencon lace with beads and sequins and featured a dropped waist. The tiered semi-cathedral train was attached to a large satin bow. Her fingertip illusion veil was draped from a beaded and se- quitted tiara. She carried her mothet’s white Biblé topped with a cascade | of white sweetheart roses, mini red carnations and ivy. Ashli Wright of Taylorsville was her sister's maid of honor. She wore a deep green tea length gown of velvet and satin and carried a brandy glass with a lighted red candle trimmed with red poinsettias. Bridesmaids were Renata Maltba of Taylorsville, sister of the bride- groom; Miss Kim Ferrell of Catawba, and Miss Angie Milstead and Mrs. Sarah Mayberry, both of of Taylorsville, friends of the bride. ROBERT SCOTT BRADLEY Lail-Bradley Kings Mountain Baptist Church was the setting Saturday for the wed- ding of Sarah DeBruler Lail and Robert Scott Bradley. Rev. Robert Collins officiated the ceremony for which the wedding music was presented by Tracy Bolin, organist, and Mrs. Patti Collins, vocalist. The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a gown of ivory silk and Brussels lace featuring a Sweetheart neckline with Basque waist and spaghetti straps. A lace motif adorned the bodice with pearls and sequins accenting the long, sheath skirt enhanced by a trumpet kick pleat accented with matching fabric bow. The matching jacket was de- signed with mandarin collar and Gibson Girl sleeves and was trimmed with lace, sequins and pearls. A pointed wreath of pearls and silk flow- ers held a French illusion pouf veil and she carried a crescent-shaped bouquet of ivory Enchantment Lilies, red miniature carnations, ivory stephanotis, cream roses, and baby's breath with red and ivory streamers. Stephanie Lail, daughter of the bride, was maid of honor and brides- maids were Kristy Bradley of Lincolnton and Andrea Lail of Kings Mountain. Hollan Bradley and Kendall Bradley were flower girls and Jonathan DeBruler was ringbearer. All the attendants wore ivory tapestry tea length formals designed “along Victoriafi lines With Queen Anne collartand “lace bodice. A dropped waist and bustle enhanced the dresses. They carried hand-tied bouquets of red miniature carnations, cream roses, ivory cushion poms and baby's breath with red and ivory streamers. The bridegroom's father was best man. Ushers were Rick DeBruler and Doug DeBruler, both of Kings Mountain, and David Bradley and Chuck Bradley, both of Lincolnton. JAMES NILE WILSON JR. lvester-Wilson Second Baptist Church was the setting December 22 for the wedding of Cynthia Ann Ivester and James Nile Wilson Jr. Rev. Eugene Land officiated the ceremony for which music was pre- sented by Evelyn Bridges, organist, and Julie Phillips and Mike Chambers, soloists. The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a formal wedding gown of white bridal satin enhanced by sequins and beads and carried a bouquet of red and white roses and baby's breath. Shannon Sellers was matron of honor and bridesmaids were Ashley Chambers and Tonya Blalock, both of Kings Mountain, Jamie Gordon of Pineville and Tammy Izzi of Shelby. All the attendants wore holiday red backless formals with red satin gloves and carried bouquets of white poinsettias and red roses. Emilee Willis was flower girl and Alan Michael Justice carried the rings. Billy Earnheart of Pineville was best man. Ushers were Jason Ivester, Wayne Ivester, Kenny Phillips and Scott Phillips. The bride's parents hosted the reception after the ceremony in the church fellowship hall.
