CRAWFORD John Darrell Crawford, 80, of 604 Mauney Ave., died February 9, 1992 at Kings Mountain Convalescent Center. A native of Cherokee County, §.C., he was the son of the late Johnny William and Fannie Huskey Crawford. He was a mem- ber of Bible Holiness Church in Grover. Surviving are his wife, Bonnie Sprouse Crawford; three sons, Jimmy Crawford and Calvin Crawford, both of Kings Mountain, and John Steedley Crawford of Locust Grove, Ga.; one sister, Isabel Harris of Gaffney, S.C.; 10 grandchildren and seven great- grandchildren. The funeral was conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Harris Chapel by Rev. Buddy Williams. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery at Gaffney, S . C. GUY HENDERSON CHARLOTTE - Guy Henderson, 78, of Sharon Village, died February 7, 1992 at home. A native of Macon County, he was the son of the late William Alexander and Mattie Davis Henderson. He was married to the late Ruth Cobb Henderson. Surviving are two sons, Harold Henderson of Watkinsville, Ga. and Ray Henderson of Charlotte; one daughter, Guyann Hullender of Kings Mountain; one sister, Eula Hartley of Shelby; six grandchil- dren and five great-grandchildren. The funeral was conducted Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at Harris Chapel by Rev. Harold Beam. Burial was in Mountain Rest Cemetery. MRS. D.B. BLALOCK Mrs. Annie Lauris Blalock, 91, of 555 Dixon School Rd., died February 8, 1992 at Kings Mountain Hospital. A native of Cherokee County, S.C., she was daughter of the late George G. and Annie Jane Parker Moss. She was a homemaker and widow of Dorus Bentley Blalock. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. Surviving are one son, D. B. Blalock Jr. of Kings Mountain; one daughter, Mrs. Bill Talley of Gastonia; one sister, Mrs. Shirley Martin of Blacksburg, S.C.; four granddaughters and four great- ‘grangchildren. : : . > funeral was conducted is Chapel. Rhea, 69, of 410 Fulton St., died February 9, 1992 at Kings Mountain Convalescent Center. A native of Cleveland County, he was son of the late Grady A. and Dora Dixon Rhea. He was married to Clara Moore Rhea, who survives. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church and a veteran of World War II in the Army Air Force. He was a retired textile em- ployee. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two sons, Ronnie Rhea of Charlotte and David Rhea of Columbia, S.C.; two daughters, Kathy Bumgardner of Gastonia and Barbara Hoke of Lugoff, S. C.; four brothers, J. D. Rhea and Jack Rhea, both of Kings Mountain, Clyde Rhea of Grover and Bill Rhea of Mobile, Ala.; four sisters, ‘Wilma Hinson and Hazel Folding, both of Douglas, Ga., and Doris Hamrick and Linda Sanders, both of Kings Mountain; and four grandchildren. The funeral was conducted Tuesday at 3 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church. Dr. Eric Faust and Rev. Robbie Moore offi- ctated. Burial was in Mountain Rest Cemetery. ROBERT H. HORD RAEFORD - Robert Harold Hord, 77, died February 4, 1992 at Autumn Care Nursing Home. He was an Elder and member of Philippi Presbyterian Church. Surviving are his wife, Louise Gillis Hord; one son, Al Warwick of Pace, Fla.; one daughter, Mrs. Linda Vaughn of Fayetteville; one brother, James Wayne Hord of Lillington; two sisters, Mrs. Agatha Cornwell of Jacksonville, Fla. and Mrs. Doris Elaine Hoyt of Long Wood, Fla.; five grandchil- dren; and one great-grandchild. The graveside service was con- ducted Thursday at 2 p.m. at Kings Mountain's Mountain Rest Cemetery by Rev. Henrietta Carmichael. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Hoke County, P. O. Box 879, Raeford, 28376. RUBY FALLS FOSTER COLUMBIA, S.C.- Ruby Falls Foster, 70, of 2416 C. Momingside Dr., died February 5, 1992 at Richland Memorial Hospital. A native of Kings Mountain, she was widow of Raymond Foster and daughter of the late Clarence and Eliza Polk Foster. She was owner of White Glove Cleaning Service in Columbia. Surviving are one son, Freddie Foster of Gastonia; one daughter, Patricia Simmons of Raleigh; two brothers, Hubert Falls of Rock Hill, S.C. and Luther Falls of Urbana, 111; three sisters, Evelyn Carlisle of Hickory, Margaret Luckadoo of Fort Mill, S. C. and Frances Simmons of Gastonia; four grand- children and two great-grandchil- dren. The funeral was conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. at Harris Chapel in Kings Mountain by Rev. James Barnes. Burial was in Westview Memorial Gardens in Bessemer City. WILBURN P. KING Wilburn Perry King, 66, of Route 6 Box 114A, died February 3, 1992 at home. A native of Henderson County, he was a retired carpenter. He was preceded in death by his two brothers, Willie Preston King and Alvin Edward King. Survivors include his wife, Margaret Burton King; two sons, Bobby Edward King of Lincolnton and Wilburn Lee King of Kings Mountain; two brothers, John Harvey King and Guy Frank King, both of Easley, S.C.; two sisters, Gladys K. Johnson and Grace K. Hayes, both of Easley, and one grandchild. The funeral was conducted February 6, 1992 at Robinson Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Howard Fuller and Rev. Jeff Johnson officiated. Burial was in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
