Barnes Auditorium. Performing were the Kings Mountain Middle School seventh and eighth grade bands, and the ninth grade band and Blazer band from Kings Mountain High School. Assistant band director Gil Doggett directed all the bands in the absence of band director Christopher Cole, who i is recuperating from recent surgery. Cole and his wife, Sarah, his former assistant director, attended and presented band vi pins to the seniors. The photos on this page show the bands in action. At top left is the saxophone section of the Blazer band, and at top right is the flute section of the ninth grade band. The middle photos show Doggett directing the KMMS eighth grade band. In the lower left photo, Doggett directs the KMMS seventh grade band in its first public performance.
