charged in a separate incident with

ruptive. He was held in jail until
sober.
Ten speeding tickets were issued
on Margrace Road, Cleveland
Avenue and Phifer Road. Four
other traffic citations were issued,
one for tinted windows, two for
child restraint seat violations, and
one for reckless-driving.
INCIDENTS
Food Lion, 1320 Shelby Rd., re-
ported miscellaneous larceny of
cigarettes worth $18.50.
Margaret Dixon, 717 Landing
St., reported larceny of a tag stick-
er.
City of Kings Mountain reported
recycling bins at 101 W. Gold
Street were cracked. The damages
were estimated at $1200.
Angie Ruth Wingard, 404 N.
Battleground, reported theft of -her
1980 Dodge Mirada valued at
$1500.
Yvonne Whitehead, 219 Kiser
St., reported a break-in and theft of
a $300 VCR and her high school
class ring.
KM Express, 212 King St., re-
ported larceny of $12.99 in beer.

Circle, reported theft of tools and a
limb trimmer valued at $475.
Top Properties reported a break-
in at Chesterfield Apartment 46.
Taken was a 17-inch television set.

Drive, reported theft of a Sony
AM&FM cassette player from his
1986 Chevrolet.
Jerry Blalock, 614 Bridges
Prive, reported theft of a rim, tire
and lug wrench from his 1991
Chevrolet truck.
Jimmy Wayne Brown, 405
Smith St., Mount Holly, reported
theft of $375 in tools and $920 in
household items from a new resi-
dence at 1002 Maner Drive.
KM Express reported larceny of
$18.51 worth of gasoline.

Drive, reported theft of a tag,
equalizer and assorted tapes total-
ing $250 from his 1978 Chevrolet:
truck.
David Collins, Walnut St., re-
ported damage to his Nissan truck
on North Cansler Street.
Kathy Tucker, 48 Chesterfield,
reported theft of $200.

on her 1988 Cadillac was damaged

Community Grocery, Waco Rd.,
reported a customer passed a bad
check for $95.
Hazel Carroll, 212 Benfield Rd.,
reported larceny of a $160 lawn-
mower.
Family Storage Center, 715 York
Rd., reported that the hinges were
broken on 14 doors.
Harris-Teeter, King St., reported
that a customer passed a bad check
for $498.50.
Barnette Furniture, Piedmont
Avenue, reported that a customer
passed a bad check for $197.00.
The Pantry, 511 Linwood Rd.,
reported larceny of $12.99 worth
of beer.
Little | Dan's, 1233S.
Battleground, reported that the
ceiling and boards on the side of
the building were damaged $850.
Nothing was reported taken during
the break-in. ;
Freddie Adams, 1510
Northwoods, Eric Jermaine Hunter,
41 Carolina Gardens, and Mark
Jennings, 34 Carolina Gardens,
said they were at a car wash on
York Road when four black males
ages 17-19 fired into the passenger
side of their 1986 Civic Honda do-
ing $300 damage. No one was in-
jured.
Donna Nester, Route 4,
Martinsville, VA, reported theft of
her pocketbook containing a
checkbook, $200 in currency, a
Virginia driver's license and key to
her vehicle.
Police found a blue Huffy bicy-
cle and stored the property for the
owner to claim.
Larry Dunn, 206 Juniper St., re-
ported that someone took gasoline
from his 1988 Blazer.
Peggy Dixon, 117 Landing St.,
Kings.

3, Bessemer City. Damages totaled
$450.
A U.S. postal truck operated by
John Lewis Houze on East King
Street struck a 1986 Ford truck op-
erated by Barbara W. White, 132
Wooding Place. Damages were es-
timated at $470.

A 1989 Mazda operated by
Patricia Martin, 1003 Linwood
Rd., struck a 1982 Toyota operated
by Kimberly Simonds, Route 1,
Bessemer City, Damages were esti-
mated at $750.
An Asphalt Paving truck operat-
ed by James Hayward Cash Jr.,
Route 1, Bostic, struck a 1982
Dodge operated by Shirley Reed,
ID Kingswood, on Battleground
Avenue. Damages were estimated
at $200.
A 1984 Ford owned by Robert
McRae Jr., Merrimont Ave., rolled
from a parked position at Pizza
Hut parking lot and hit a 1983
Datsun owned by Kevin Gass, 124
Biggers Rd., Grover. Damages
were estimated at $475.
Cars operated by Nellie Elder,
713 Floyd Street, and Doris Clary,
107 Baptist Tree Drive, hit on
Phifer Road at the middle school
driveway. Property damages were
estimated at $500.
SEPTEMBER 4
A 1989 Nissan operated by Lou
Anne Parker, 21 Country Club Rd.,
pulled from the parking lot of First
Union National Bank into the path
of a car operated by Danny Shell,
415 Walls St., Shelby. Damages
were estimated at $300.
A 1970 Chevrolet operated by
Leslie Lail, 142 Manville Drive,
struck a 1986 Olds operated by
Paula Eckerd, 153 Quail Hollow
Drive, in the parking lot at King
Mountain High School. Damages
were estimated at $550.
SEPTEMBER 5
Cars operated by Emest Camp,
1811 Alpine Drive, and Willis
King, 1002 Linwood Road,
bumped on Cleveland Avenue.
Property damages were estimated
at $50.
Police cited Jeffrey Todd Allison

speed after a one-car wreck on
Bennett Drive. Police said Allison,
