MICHAEL LEE SOUTHARDS Jenkins-Southards First Wesleyan Church was the setting November 7 for the wedding of Dana Renee Jenkins and Michael Lee Southards. Rev. Terry Alexander officiated. Evenly Bridges was organist and Julie Phillips was soloist for the pro- gram of wedding music. Beth McDaniel was pianist for the reception af- ter the ceremony in the church fellowship hall. Dr. Larry Rednour gave his stepdaughter in marriage. The bride wore a white formal-length gown designed with sweetheart neckline and dropped waist enhanced by seed pearls and sequins. Her fingertip veil was attached to a tiara-style headpiece and she carried a bouquet of fushia, Rubrum lilies and miniature white roses. Terri Petty of Kings Mountain was her sister's matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Bethe Dixon Weaver of Dallas, Candi Chapman and KIMBERLY MICHELLE DEVENEY Deveney-Crowe The engagement of Kimberly Michelle Deveney and Stefan Mark Crowe, both of Shelby, is announced by her grandparents, Mr..and Mrs. Thomas F. Morrow of Kings Mountain. Miss Deveney, daughter of James E. Deveney of Cherryville and Karen Goodman of Lexington, is a 1991 graduate of Kings Mountain High School. She is employed by Azdel Inc. of Shelby. The bridegroom-to-be, son of William R. Crowe of Shelby and Margaret Crowe of Route 1, Ellenboro, is a 1979 graduate of East Rutherford High School. He is employed by Azdel Inc. of Shelby. The wedding will take place in Spring 1993. APRIL MICHELLE CONDREY Condrey-Green The engagement of April Michelle Condrey and James Larry Green Jr. is announced by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roger Condrey of Grover. Miss Condrey is a 1991 graduate of Kings Mountain High School and is attending Gaston College. She is employed as a secretary by All American Heating & Air Conditioning. ~The bridegroom-to-be, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Larry Green of 209 Jim Patterson Rd., is a 1990 graduate of Kings Mountain High School and is attending Cleveland Community College. He is employed by All American Heating & Air Conditioning. The wedding will be an event of March 6, 1993. A graduate of Kings Mountain F High School, he is employed at LaPointe Honda in Shelby. HM A pinnacle hike will be held Sunday, Dec. 13 at 1 p.m. at Crowders Mountain State Park. A volunteer will lead a leisurely paced hike to the summit of Kings Pinnacle. The hike is about 3 1/2 miles. For more information, call the park office at 853-5375.
