HB On December 20 at 7 p.m., the Praise and Worship Choir (Sanctuary Choir) will present "Love's Pure Light" by Randy Vader and Jay Rouse. It is a thrilling story of how much God loves the world and what He was giving to give to show His love. It is the journal of the death of the Choir) will present "Christmas Song" by Joe Parks. ; When the angels announced the Messiah's birth to the Judean shep- herds, they lifted their voices in praise and sang a new song. Many centuries later, that song rings anew in the hearts of men and women who come in faith to the Presbyterian choir to sing The Chancel Choir of First Presbyterian Church will sing "Celebrate the Child" at 11 a.m. Sunday worship services. The Joy Gift offering will bene- fit retired ministers and educators of the church, their widowed spouses and dependents and sup- port or racial ethnic schools and colleges. The annual Decemberfest will be held Sunday night at 6:30 p.m. in the Recreation Building. The Christmas tree will be decorated with warm toboggans, gloves, and socks for the local needy and chil- dren of Grandfather Home for Children. The Christmas Eve communion service will be held at 9 p.m. December 24. The Sacrament of the Lord's Supper will be observed. Carols, scripture reading and can- dle lighting will feature the service. The annual candlelight commu- nion service will be held on Christmas Eve at 11 p.m. The ser- vice will feature traditional Christmas Eve readings from the Bible, Christmas carols, music from Resurrection's Chancel Choir under the direction of Donald Deal, seasonal organ music from Betty Anne Deal, beautiful candlelight and the Sacrament of Holy Communion.
