RUDOLPH
From Page 1-B
Did you know Rudolph's nose
wasn't always red? One day right
after Rudolph was born he had a
black nose. He was like any other
deer. But one terrible day
Rudolph's nose turned red - so red
that it glowed in the dark. Here's
how it happened:
Some of the other reindeer that
live in the forest were playing.
They asked Rudolph to play. So he
did. While they were playing one
doer spilled some red paint,
into the paint, That's really how he
got his red nose.
Amber Dotson
When Rudolph was little his
nose was purple with black spots.
Once there was a white witch that
turned Rudolph into a frog, His
nose was purple with black spots,
He went to his mother and he said,
"Ribbit." His mother jumped in the
air about two feet, His mother ran
into the woods as fast as she could.
Rudolph was sad. He was crying
and he was hungry. He ate some
cherries from a bush. The cherries
made him turn back into a reindeer.
He thought the cherries were good,
50 he ate more and more. His nose
was turning pink. It was turning re-
al dark red. He screamed, "Yippie."
He ran back to his mother. His
mother was happy to see him. They —
celebrated with cherry pie and
cherry soda.
; Thomas Meiswinkel
One day Rudolph was planting
roses. He planted the last one and
fell in a tunnel, There were a bunch
of light bulbs down there. One ac-
cidentally got in his nose and he
couldn't get it out. All the warmth
in his body gave the light electrici-
ty. So all the time Rudolph's nose
will bring joy
and happiness
to those who

Did you know that Rudolph's
nose was not always red. Let me.
tell you how his nose became red.
One day in June at the North
Pole a new reindeer was born. He
had the weirdest nose. It was black
with green with little blue dots.
Then he went into the forest and
fell on arock. It was really a space
ship and he was trapped in it. Then
he saw a little red button and he
pushed it in and he shot out of the
‘ship. He saw a big red hot ball in
the air and he got closer and closer,
then all of a sudden his nose
landed in the snow and it's been red
.and glowing, His nose has been red
ever since then.
_ Colt Morrison

and play with his friend. When he

fun of him, Rudolph went in and
told his mom that they were mak-
ing fun of him, Then his mom said
to go out and. get some sticks. So
he went outside But he fell and hit -
‘his nose onthe hot floor. Then his-
nose got red,
Then he ran home and those kids
were laughing at him. They said,
"Look at that red nose!" Then he
ran home. His mom said, "What
happened?" So Rudolph cried.
He went to sleep. Santa Claus
came. Rudolph woke up. Santa
Claus said, "Rudolph, come with
me." So he went with Santa.
The next morning his mom
; yelled, "Rudolph is missing!" So
touched it'and caught on fire, Then
“he saw the ship again and he flew
back home to the North Pole, He

ing, with humor and drama and with an
ending that would fill a lake with smil-
ing tears.

They refuse to accept what has hap-
pened. They would like to reverse his-
tory. They have the means to do it. If
