were written by students in Mrs.
Grayson's third grade class at West
Elementary.
Dear Santa,
1 have been good because I have
helped other people.
I want for Christmas a Super
Duper Double Looper, color TV,
dart gun, money and a camera.
I want you to come because I am
going to have brownies for you.

Dear Santa,
I've been good this year. I think I
deserve a gift. Here is some of the
things I do. I clean my room and
wash the car. I do my homework.
So this is what I want. I want my
Mom to come home for Christmas.

I have never lied because I know
it's wrong. I don't ever bully people
around smaller than I am. I always
feed my dog, but my Mom made
me stop. I don't know why. I
helped my Mother rake up the

guns because I am crazy about

sword that makes noise because I
like weapons.

as much as I can, when she needs

Dear Santa, '
I've been in a lot of trouble this
year, but next year I'll be a lot dif-
ferent,
My grandfather just died on
Thanksgiving night at Kings
Mountain Memorial Hospital, and
December 6th my sister got hit by
a big white truck but she didn't get
hurt. So I would like for you to
bring my grandfather back. I would
like for you to bring my sister a
Roller Blade Barbie. These things
make me feel really sad. But when
Christmas comes I'll be happy.
I would like you to bring Mother
a ring with real diamonds. And I
would like you to bring me a
Roller Blade Barbie like my sis-
ters.
For Christmas I would love to
have a Nintendo, and some school
clothes. I'd like a Santa doll and a
few tapes to go with my Nintendo.
I hope you will not forget me.

I have been good by giving out
paper for people that have no pa-
per. 1 have been nice to people.
Some people have not been nice to
me but I try to be nice to them.
Sometimes I help my family and
help other people. I do my home-
