Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Greene of Shelby announce the engagement of
their daughter, Lori Denise, to James Cartwright Ferebee III, son of Mr.
and Mrs. James C. Ferebee Jr. of Kings Mountain.
Miss Ferebee is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dever Greene of
Shelby and Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Harris of Ellenboro. A 1990 graduate of
Shelby HIgh School, she is a junior student at the University of North
Carolina at Chapel Hill where she is majoring in Elementary Education.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs.
James C. Ferebee Sr. of Eastern Shore, VA and the late Mr. and Mrs.
Robert L. Keen of Swords Creek, VA. He is a 1988 graduate of Kings
Mountain High School and earned his B.A. in Religion from Gardner-
Webb University in 1992. He is self employed.
First Baptist Church in Kings Mountain will bg the the setting for the
June 5 wedding.

. Miss Morrow attended Kings Mountain High School and is employed
at Bolin Day Care.
The bridegroom-to-be attended Kings Mountain High School and
Gardner Webb University and graduated from Cleveland Community
College with an Associate in Applied Science and Electronic Data
Processing. He is employed by the City of Kings Mountain Electrical
Department.
The wedding will be an event of June 5.
