| stand for a lower budget for us as well as our
great city. There is a lot we can cut from the former
budget we now have, such as collect our own
taxes and stop paying all our revenues out of
town. We will begin to see such progress as lower
power bills.
| feel we can do away with 1) No two hours

overtime each day. 2) No driving city vehicles home at night. 3) No vans -we
can buy 2 basic pickup trucks to do the same job for the price of one van;
No air conditioner, power steering, tinted glass, or AM/FM radios.
| feel we can benefit more, by us all collecting our own taxes, collecting our
own garbage and handle our own sewer and stop all this unnecessary
spending. :
We need to look at City Hall, who do we need? Who do we not need? There,
are too many high salaries being paid. The ones we need to most, give a pay
increase - such as police and sanitation.
I beleive citizens 60 - 80 years of age should get a 10% discount on power
bills, over 81 years of age should receive 100% discount.
Senior citizens - you are Kings Mountain. The food stores have express
lanes for 1-10 items, why can't they have a line for 10% discount for senior
citizens. | will work to achieve this for you.
On Oct. 25, 1993 | will celebrate my 35th wedding anniversary to Margaret
Wood Brackett. We have one son, Frank Jr. We have lived at 1012 N.
Piedmont Ave. for 34 years. | am an honorable discharged, 4 year veteran
of the Navy. | worked for Earl Tindol Ford for 20 years. | ran my own business
for 4 years and | worked for the City of Kings Mountain 8 years and 4 months.
| was fired from the City of Kings Mountain, yes, fired. But, | was fired for
trying to help you, yes, you, the citizens of Kings Mountain.
| got up a petition against a garbage compactor with a dead man's name
on it, but | have a notorized statement that he and his widow signed. You all
have been misled all over our City.
No one else has lost their job standing up for our citizens. A vote for me
on October 5, will be a vote for you.
God bless you all and | love you all and our great City, Kings Mountain.
